| 1 hour Jan's driving lesson entitles you to 3 hours in your logbook |
|
From December 19, 2009 a one hour of driving tuition by a professional driving instructor will count for three hours in the learner driver log book. These changes will be capped at a maximum of 10 one hour lessons counting as 30 logbook hours. Also learners who are 25 years or older will no longer be required to complete a logbook. The RTA recently made changes to the Graduated Licensing Scheme for learner drivers. From 19 December 2009, learner drivers under 25 years of age who complete a one hour structured driving lesson with a fully licensed driving instructor can record three hours of driving experience in their Learner driver log book. Up to a maximum of 10 hours of structures driving lessons can now be accepted and recorded as 30 hours in the Learner driver log book.
