Welcome to Jan’s Driving School, a Newcastle Based driver training organization with a dedicated team which has been proudly teaching our customers to drive for over 29 years.

We specialize in assisting our customers through their L Plates and P Plates to ensure that they become safe, confident and skilled drivers with skills for the future. Our activities are structured around providing a package of activities which incorporates L Plate and P Plate training, in an easy going, comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

If you’re on your L Plates, Jan’s has a number of Experienced, Fully Qualified, Female and Male instructors covering Newcastle, Maitland, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock, Raymond Terrace and surrounding areas. Tuition is available in a range of either Manual or Automatic dual controlled vehicles. We also offer Low Risk Defensive Driving Courses for P Plate drivers and drivers aged 17 to 25 in association with National Driver Education (NDE).

When starting out with your driving, it is essential that you are fully comfortable with the choice of driving instructor while you learn to drive. You need a school which is focused purely on your needs so that you become the best driver you can be.
